Dear Torq zone team, I want to thank you for the excellent service I received at Torq zone cycles this week. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull. I want to compliment one of your excellent employees, Chris.He went to great lenghts to give me feedback regarding the service and problems found on my Pinnarello Dogma F8 . The service was carried out in a very profesional manner .I was very impressed and satisfied upon riding the bike after the service was carried out. Such service builds great relationships. I will not hesitate to return to your store in future for a bike service or repairs.
My bike frame cracked during a ride in the mountains of Ghana close to the capital Accra I was quite concerned about how this will affect my cycling as with fixing a frame in Ghana is not an option. I was fortunate that I had to travel back to SA the next week. I contacted William at Torq Zone and he managed to replace my frame with the manufacturer reassemble my bike and have it delivered at the Airport a mere 5 days later ! I had a 1st ride this weekend and it was perfect. World class service !!! The best ! Happy MTB 'er Michiel
Ek het gister die “voorreg” gehad om my fiets vir die dag aan Torq Zone te oorhandig, sienende dat ek die gedink het ‘n Zone 3 diens is nodig. Groot was my verbasing tot ek met Chris gesels het en hy my verwittig het dat ‘n Zone 3 diens werklikwaar nie nodig is nie, omrede die toestand van al die komponente nog nie dit regverdig het nie, ghries is nog reg/vars en dies meer. Alle ander fietswinkels sou my definitief die prys vir ‘n Zone 3 gevra het alhoewel hul slegs die werk van ‘n Zone 1 sou doen en ek was stomgeslaan deur die integriteit waarmee jul handel – dit bestaan nie meer in vandag se tye nie!! My kollega (Hein Garbers) het my na jul verwys en na gister se ervaring besef ek waarom hy jul soveel lof besing – jul het beslis ‘n nuwe klient bygekry wat geen ander opsie as jul sal oorweeg nie, hetsy vir diens, toebehore of ‘n nuwe fiets in die toekoms!

Feather in cap to Torq Zone! Tonight I was fitting rubber end caps to the cranks on my bike (recently assembled by TZ), as well as my wife's bike (bought a week ago from a well known dealer). Upon removing my peddles I noticed TZ had used copper compound to prevent the peddles from seizing in the crank. Nice touch - something I would normally do myself. My wife's peddles were, however, bone dry. Small things make a big difference!! Thanks to the guys at Torq Zone for excellent service and for treating my bike the way I would!
I just want to thank you guys for the service you did on my bike last week. Have to say I am impressed and my bike rides like a new bike. I had issues with the gears after the Silverstar MTB muddy expedition but now I am more than happy. Speedy service as well. Will highly recommend. Thanks again guys from doringkloof store.

I was impressed with Torq Zone's servicing, bike felt like new after every service. Then my bike came loose after a rubber-band snapped on our way to the Sani2c, it dragged behind the car for about 100m, resulting in a saddle that lost about 20% body. I gave William a call and he arranged that a saddle and new bar-ends were delivered before the start. You have a real fan guys!
I just want to say, I love what you guys are doing, I’m a bicycle mechanic in Australia and I started my career as a mechanic in jhb at about the same age as the young men in the photo. I completed my cytech 7 years ago when I was in London, it’s a fantastic course and extremely handy once certified. I have travelled to so many places in the world with this unique skill. Live, learn and most of all love fixing bikes, it’s the most awesome industry to work in the world

We had a problem with our MTBs gear changing and it was very frustrating. Did the full 'biggest' service available and some more and TorqZone still weren't able to diagnose the problem and advise on repairs. We almost dissed TorqZone to go to another 'private' well known MTB mechanic to diagnose the problem. Thanks to Dirk (snr) for his excellent customer relations approach, I ran into him by accident at a MTB race registration at the store in Doornkloof, Centurion; he attended to the matter immediately, assured me of his personal attendance to diagnose the problem; and two/three weeks later albeit with a new wheel set.. our Momsen is purring like a kitten on the dirt tracks of Gauteng again. Compliments also to Dirk (jnr) for the excellent mechanical work and advice / feedback to me as a client. I know now a lot more about wheel sets than most people. TorqZone are going to go places, big places, in business. Well done Team TorqZone.

I am back from my four day ride in the Timbavati. I did not have time to test the bike after the service and repairs but, as it turned out, I did not need to. The bike was FANTASTIC !! It felt like a new bike and I don't think it has ridden so well since I have had it (having bought it second hand about 15 months ago). This was notwithstanding my having boxed it for the flight and assembling it there myself. I did not have one technical the whole ride. Thank you very much for your excellent and expert service.
As a mountain biker, new to the game, I was very disappointed with the level of service and interaction I received at your conventional cycling shops (shops that both sell bikes and service them). I then saw an article on Torq Zone in a magazine and decided to give them a go and was I impressed! Their service was comprehensive, quick and thorough. Their electronic quotation and billing system makes thing very easy to process and to understand (for us non-technical people). What however impressed me the most was the interaction between me and their technical staff before and after each service - they simply spoke to me in a language I understood and now I know a lot more about the technical workings of my bike than before. I have also never seen my bike this clean after a service – it always looks brand new and man, does that make a difference when you pay your bill – you do it with a smile on your face! I will definitely use Torq Zone in the future.

Positive! Bikes collected in the morning. I had a call from Dirk and he clarified what I wanted done. I said I wanted the Zone 3 service, he advised he would rather determine the need for it and get back to me. Dirk phoned me back and advised that he checked all the Zone 2 and 3 items, and in his opinion a Zone 1 service would be all that is needed! I even took my wife's bike there as well.

Thank you so much for the brilliant job done on my bike. My bike rides like a new one, no, even better! I now think there is nothing wrong with my 2003 Trek4400. I almost stopped a guy riding a Merida soft tail one day and told him to bring his bike to you, cause I could hear his bike 'trying' to change gears when mine was as silent as a mouse with slippers.
